Today, June 9, 2020 was a really good early season fishing trip. We tagged and released 4 stripers, took 5 bluefish and surprisingly landed 10 Block Island codfish up to 11 pounds, We released a few Black Seabass. The winds and seas were calm. Over the next week or so we will be scoping out areas that hold early season fluke. We are also anxiously awaiting the opening of Black Seabass season on June 24. We still have some days open in June for trips.
The lobster charters will be starting as soon as some lobsters show up in some numbers. So far we have caught a few but nothing to write home about. Stay tuned, the lobsters charter is a great family activity. Economical, fun and an adventure to remember....
